This product is a powdered rigid waterproof material formulated with special cement, quartz sand, and other premium ingredients, blended with multi-active chemicals. Simply add water to prepare a smooth slurry, then apply it to the base surface of cement concrete structures. After curing, it forms a rigid, adhesive coating on the concrete surface—while its active chemicals penetrate deep into the concrete via permeable water carriers. These chemicals catalyze insoluble crystal formation with concrete silicates, filling capillary pores and microcracks to densify the concrete, delivering superior impermeability and reliable waterproof protection.

JY-CCW Cement Based Permeable Crystalline Waterproof Coating is a gray powdery material formulated with ordinary Portland cement as the base material and blended with active chemical components.
Its waterproof mechanism mainly relies on the porous nature of the material. Under the action of water, the active chemical substances contained in the waterproof coating take water as the carrier. As water penetrates into the pores of the concrete structure, the active chemical substances penetrate into the interior of the concrete along with the water. These substances then react to form insoluble crystals such as ettringite. At the same time, the active chemicals also undergo a hydration reaction with the unhydrated cement particles in the concrete, which promotes the hydration of cement. This process forms cement hydration crystals, and a large number of generated crystals fill and block the pores in the concrete, preventing water from entering the concrete and thus achieving the waterproof purpose.
In addition to its excellent waterproof performance, this product also has outstanding additional advantages: it features secondary impermeability, enabling it to maintain waterproof effectiveness even if minor damages occur; it possesses self-healing ability, which can automatically repair small microcracks in the concrete structure; it has good anti-corrosion properties, effectively protecting the concrete from corrosion by external harmful substances; it exhibits excellent aging resistance, ensuring long-term stable performance even in harsh environmental conditions; and it can protect the steel bars inside the concrete structure, preventing steel bar rusting and extending the service life of the entire concrete structure.

Precautions

  • Avoid construction in rain, fog, wind, or sandstorms.
  • Use clean water for mixing and curing.

  • Seal pipe joints with V-grooves and clamps.
  • Maintain proper coating thickness; avoid over-mixing or adding water.
  • Wait 36 hours before backfilling; protect coating from water for 7 days.

Construction Method

Brushing Method (Slurry)

Base Treatment:Clean base of slurry, alkali, dust, oil; roughen surface; rinse with high-pressure water.

Wet Base:Fully wet base; keep moist, no standing water.

Mixing

  • Ratio: powder : water = 1 : (0.35–0.4)
  • Add water first, then powder; stir evenly.
  • Use within 20 min; no re-adding water.

Application

  • Brush evenly with stiff brush.
  • Next coat after surface turns white.
  • If >12 hrs, re-wet before coating.
  • Dosage: 1.4–1.7 kg/m²
  • Thickness: 1.0 mm (±0.05 mm)

Dry Spreading Method

  • Spread 1.5 kg/m² on semi-set concrete.
  • Press in with wooden trowel + polisher; calender surface.

Curing

  • Keep wet ≥72 hrs (7 days ideal).
  • Spray water or cover with wet cloth.
  • Protect from rain; no acid cleaning.

It is suitable for permanent anti-seepage and waterproofing works of cement concrete in various scenarios, including:
